中目黒駅から池尻大橋方面へ徒歩10-15分、目黒川沿いに Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo が 2019年2月にオープンしました。こちらの店舗は上海にあった当時世界最大のスターバックス店舗のサイズ2,787平方メートルを上回る2,966平方メートルという超大型店で世界最大の記録を上回ったことでメディアを賑わせました。
10-15 minutes walk from Nakameguro station towards Ikejiri Ohashi along Meguro river, Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo celebrated its grand opening in February 2019. This Tokyo roastery became the largest starbucks roastery in the world, surpassing the one in Shanghai, with its 2,966 square meter size. (31,925 sqf)
リザーブロースタリーでは、ウィスキーをコーヒーとフージョンさせたアルコール類も提供されているという事を聞いており、ずっと行きたいと思っていましたが、ついに行くことができたのでリポートしたいと思います！
I was eager to try out this place as I heard alcohol/coffee fusion drinks are served at reserve roasteries. Finally, I had a chance to go, so here’s some report!
一歩中に入ると案内係の人がいて、3Fにアルコール類のフュージョンドリンクが提供されていることを丁寧に教えてくれました。
There was an usher once you step in, and she taught me where to go for the fusion drink. The bar is at the 3rd floor!

さて、お待ちかねのコーヒーとウィスキーのフュージョンドリンク、バレル・エイジド・コールド・ブリュー （Barrel-Aged Cold Brew）の登場です！
Alright, let’s cut the bs and get to the main topic…. Here is the Whiskey infused coffee, Barrel-Aged Cold Brew!
ティラミスに合うもので提案してほしいというと↑を提案されました。一番人気だそうです。若干ライト反射して少し分かりづらいですが↓の写真みての通り、氷越しにコースターの文字がくっきり映るほど透明度の高い氷を使用。立方体状の氷がとてもおしゃれ。
I asked the bartender for something that goes with a Tiramisu, and this drink was suggested. It’s actually the No.1 popular drink, she said. It’s a little hard to tell due to lighting, but if you can see from the photo below, the transparency of the ice is crystal-clear that you can even see the letters of coaster through the ice. The cubic shape makes the drink very fancy.
バレルエイジドコーヒーは ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5つ星！ なんとも表現しきれない上品なウィスキーの甘さがコールドブリューと絶妙なバランス。コールドブリューの味が最初にしてバーボンウィスキーの優しい甘さが鼻を抜けます。1200円。
I would give this coffee a 5-star! Hard to describe but the sweetness of the bourbon whiskey with a cold brew coffee was just harmonious. The cold brew taste will come first, then the subtle sweet aromatic scent of whiskey reaches your nose after it. 1,200JPY
ティラミスの方は ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆4つ星としました。620円。美味しくできてるけど、感動的においしいというほどではないです。でもコールドブリューとあわせるならこのケーキは他の選択肢の中で最もあうのではなかろうかと私は思います。普通コーヒーは引き立て役の位置づけですが、このウィスキー入りコールドブリューとの組み合わせの場合は主役コーヒーでティラミス引き立て役ぐらいの気持ちでいただく方が適切かもしれない・・・。笑
I’d give the tiramisu a 4-star. 620 JPY. It was pretty good, but not something that is mind-blowing. Having it with the whiskey cold-brew, this cake is probably the best pairing among any other cakes in the place. Usually, a coffee is the foil to a cake, but in this case, you might have a greater appreciation having the cake as the foil to coffee….lol
